CARA @ International Pet Summit 2026
CARA Welfare Philippines joins this year's International Pet Summit at SMX Mall of Asia on its first day, July 24, 2026.
CARA will take part in the opening ceremonies and kick off the Center Stage events with a talk titled "Giving Community Cats a Better Life," presented by CARA volunteer Ms. Irianne Labangon at 10:30 AM.
CARA's Ambassadors from the CARA Home for Dogs will also be joining the event — free pets and unlimited oxytocin guaranteed for those who meet them!
Our Ambassadors will join renowned dog behavior specialist and trainer Lestre Zapanta, "The Pinoy Dog Whisperer," as he tackles the toughest questions in dog training. We're excited to have our adoptables join his session!

Meet some of CARA's adoptable ambassadors!
CARA's canine Ambassadors from the CARA Home for Dogs will be joining the event to promote fostering and adoption awareness. They are well-trained and well-socialized, and eager to accept pets and treats. Feel free to approach one, engage, and take a photo — free, instant stress relief on a busy Friday afternoon!
All of CARA's dogs are spayed / neutered, and given the latest Rabies and 5 in 1 vaccines.

ANNA
She's got gorgeous long white fur, fluffy ears, and pretty light brown markings. Playful, energetic, and always ready for fun! No wonder she's one of the crowd favorites whenever KAHU has visitors.
Beauty
She was found as a stray in Bagong Bayan and brought to CARA for care. She was still carrying her deceased puppy with her. 🙁 But Beauty has since healed and is now excited to find a family to call her own. #veryMorena
Blackie
He's a total people person (well, dog)! He loves his humans and soaks up all the attention he can get. He's just a bit more guarded when it comes to other dogs — let's just say he might be angling for "only child" status. Wink wink!
Bravo
Bravo is one of our most outgoing dogs! He's joined CARA events as an Ambassador and is always a hit with the crowd. He may not have tricks down just yet, but you can bet he'll catch that treat every time. If Bravo were a cup of coffee, he'd definitely be a warm latte: smooth, comforting, and just the pick-me-up you need. Meet bravo at IPS!
January
AKA Jany, a very energetic, tall lady who'll surely brighten up your day. Jany's always one of the first dogs to greet our visitors whenever they drop by!
Joey
True to his name, this Jumping Joey loves to hop on both people... and his fellow dogs. I mean, look at that face, he's about to jump out of the screen, we tell ya. He's also a little bit possessive of his human companions — like Blackie, he's probably going to love being an unico hijo.
Joy
Joy was found abandoned in Mandaluyong with matted fur and a sad, hopeless look. With time, patience, and lots of TLC, she grew into one of our most playful, trusting dogs. A perfect Oreo cookie. Now she's officially a CARA Ambassador, heading to IPS!
Mikey
He was found at Guadalupe Viejo Park in Makati and was rescued and rehabilitated by CARA. He's the type to observe before he engages, but when it comes to treats, he's all in!
River
River has the pinkest nose ever. It may take time before River decides to be your pal, but once he makes up his mind, you're in for a treat. Not a big cat fan though!
Sara
Quiet and timid at first, but she'll warm right up once she gets to know you. Sara was rescued from a shelter in Bataan and joined CARA for treatment (chemo, and many more). She's a cancer survivor and is one of CARA's senior dogs.
Tina
Her fur looks just like latte art — spots, swirls, and all. She's sweet, loyal, and a total cuddle bug, plus super playful with other pups.
Tiktok
She's very clingy and playful, she loves being petted — and yes, she's a big girl... a big-boned big dog! She's your ultimate partner for TikTok videos and Instagram reels. Whatever energy you bring, she'll take it and give it back tenfold!
Tottie
Tottie was rescued from the streets of Mandaluyong last year. He had a worrying lump and was treated for TVT. With chemo and a lot of care, he made a full recovery! He's now ready to join his new home!
