To educate our people, and especially our children, to humane attitudes and actions toward living things is to preserve and strengthen our national heritage and the moral values we champion in the world.
Humane education nurtures compassion and respect for people, animals, and the environment, and helps people, especially children, understand that all living things are connected.
From an Animal Welfare perspective, providing humane education means implementing a long-term strategy for a kinder world. Humane education builds the values and empathy that stop harm before it begins. It is also one of the most cost-effective tools for driving lasting, large-scale improvement in animals' lives.
Through our program we aim to cultivate in children a spirit of kindness to animals. They are made aware of the numerous responsibilities, costs and time commitment associated with caring for an animal.
Ultimately, our goal is to empower students, and the youth, to speak up for animals and not be passive observers to their abuse. Instilling such a foundation in their formative years will make them just, kind, and compassionate individuals in every respect.

Why it matters
It builds empathy early. Values formed in childhood shape adult behaviour for life. Schools that integrate humane education help students develop the habit of considering others' perspectives, human and animal alike.
It addresses the root cause of cruelty. Animal abuse rarely exists in isolation. Teaching children to value all living beings reduces the risk of violence in wider society.

Our sessions are adapted to the developmental stage of each class, ensuring content is meaningful and age-appropriate. Children are introduced to the responsibilities and rewards of caring for animals, and are guided to become advocates rather than bystanders.
Depending on our audience, our core focus can cover:
