Every rescued animal deserves a second chance at life, and a loving home to call their own. When you adopt from CARA, you’re not just gaining a companion. You’re saving a life, supporting animal rescue efforts, and making room for us to help even more animals in need.
It sounds simple, but it carries weight. This isn’t just about where you get a pet, it’s about what your choice supports.
One creates demand, one saves a life.
One is chosen for looks, one is chosen for love.
One is a transaction, one is a second chance.
One is easy, one is meaningful.
And somewhere in between those choices is an animal still waiting to be seen. Same love, different impact.
While CARA is not a shelter, we continue to rehabilitate, and care for these previously rescued abandoned and mistreated cats and dogs until they are ready for loving forever homes.
Adopting from CARA means:
You save more than one life. By adopting from CARA, you "free up" space and resources for another rescue who may be in need.
CARA’s rescues are all spayed/neutered and given the necessary vaccinations prior to being endorsed to a new home. Likewise, they are socialized to interact with humans and other dogs/cats, and are trained to stay indoors as well.
A minimal adoption fee (₱1,000 for cats, ₱1,500 for dogs) goes directly toward the continued care of our existing rescues, especially those with special needs.
Adopt, don't shop. Help fight animal homelessness. Adoption helps address the growing number of abandoned and stray animals and reduces the demand for irresponsible breeding.

Make sure to read and understand our adoption policies before completing the adoption form.
Complete and send the adoption form. This will be the first step for your screening process.
You will receive an invitation for an interview (online or onsite, whichever is suitable). This will also be a good time for us to answer any questions you may have.
Depending on the interview, a home visit may be requested. This may be waived if a house tour was previously provided during the online interview.
Upon confirmation, kindly pay the adoption fee using any of our donation channels. This will help CARA extend its support for the rest of the strays under our care, while opening up a new slot for a rescue who needs it the most. The minimal adoption fee for P1,000.00 for cats, and P1,500.00 for dogs. The adoption fee is non-refundable.
CARA will issue a Certificate of Adoption upon pick up.
